![]() 4th time is a charm, all working with srv6 in 2012 level domain, cant goto 2016 level till it is gone.srv6 is a ghost in the machine, a few hours after I remove it and verify and requirements, it appears to be gone, then it shows up in dcdiag /v logs and the domain looses Users and group access and the ldap connections fail to AD the new DC and time serverfor Domain. I have performed all Metadata and dns cleanups, check this post for most steps and tools usedwent through the registries and adsiedit entrys and completely removed srv6.Everything replicates and shows srv6 offline and gone. The last three trys end in domain failure when srv6 is removed and shutdown, have rolled back to here once again. Hi,First of all, please make sure to clean up the metadata of old server srv6 after you remove a DC, then force a full replication among DCs and see if some errors are gone.Metadata cleanup is a required procedure after a forced removal of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).Clean Up Server Metadataregards,WendyPlease remember to mark the replies as answers if they help.If you have feedback for TechNet Subscriber Support, contact.
